Hi Dave,
I just noticed, looking at your main page for the "My Solitudes" series, that the second installment is actually chapter 5 of the series. Will the installments be "random" or will they follow a pattern? If a pattern, I'm looking for Seacoast in Winter to be the third installment. That's what I suspect you're up to. Do tell...
Marc
Will the installments be "random" or will they follow a pattern?
Both! Depends on who's point of view - yours or mine!
There will be a letter sent together with this book explaining what is going on, but for the benefit of others, might as well put the information here too ...
To the collectors of the My Solitudes series,
Here you go, the second book/print is now ready ... the Forest in Autumn. Please note though, that this is not 'Chapter Two', but 'Chapter Five'. The complete set of 12 chapters will of course represent the passage of one year, starting in the summer and ending in the spring. But because I cannot possibly create the series within that time span, I will be jumping back and forth in the sequence; the idea is to send you a print each time that _approximately_ matches the actual season.
Because of this, reading the stories will occasionally feel like watching a movie that uses foreshadowing and flashbacks; there will sometimes be a reference to an episode or event that you haven't read yet! A couple of years from now, once all 12 chapters are in place, I hope that everything will connect together smoothly. Until then, please just enjoy the film!
Thank you for your support of this project; I am getting _exactly_ what I wanted - a terrifyingly difficult challenge with every new print - I only hope you aren't too terrified when you open each package!
Dave
I forgot to say how beautiful the large tree in the foreground right is and how it just wants to be touched.
Lots of people go away this time of year...don't worry about lack of comments!
I didn't think I was going to like this one,at first, but it is just gorgeous. How wrong I was!
