My Solitudes project ... Mystery pattern ...

Posted by Dave Bull at 11:01 PM, May 18, 2007

Bit of a change from the colour block carving we've seen over the past couple of days ... here's the result of part of today's work ... a mystery block! What part of the project will this be for?

Perhaps for a front or back cover? A lead-in page printed on vellum or parchment?

Object: Water in a stream?

I love a mystery.

That's lovely. I'm with Bette; it would make beautiful endpapers.

Good day Mr, Bull. I'm going to take a shot in the dark but I'm thinking you may use the wave pattern for embossing after printing???
I love how clean your block are, it's as though the image has risin up from a flat block compared to the negitive space being carved out of the wood! You are truly a craftsmen with the patience of a Saint!!
