Hands up, all who can remember this one!

Yes, it was 'retired' yesterday. After performing faithfully for 24 years and 4 months ... The drain cock finally went out of kilter, and it wouldn't hold water anymore. I had a look, and could have patched it together, but I guess enough is enough ...

The replacement one is kind of neat; you dump clothes inside, toss in the soap, hit the 'start' button, and then head downstairs to work. When I come upstairs again, it's all done. What will they think of next? :-)
