Haru ga Kita!

Well, you all read the item on Bullfeathers about Boots-chan bringing over a guest today, and I mentioned that I caught a bit of video (just using the 'mini' video setting on my digital camera). Here we go ... Meet Haru-chan ...

I spoke to the owner this evening - when she came over to pick up Boots-chan, who had slept all afternoon on that cushion. She says the new one is a female, now nearly three months old, and is called 'Haru' (spring). She wasn't all that excited to hear that the two of them had been over here together, and I guess she's hoping the previous pattern - of 'their' cat spending so much time over here - won't be repeated.

But as we all know, people don't choose cats, cats choose people ... And my door is always open!

Update from Thailand ...

Here's some more photos...

1) TV corner in the living room, we have a dish which gets more than 100 channels, not one of which I can understand.

2) Dining table, with bamboo "dome", this it to keep the flies of things...

3) Bedroom, with the giveaway sign of "Falang" occupancy, the air-con unit on the back wall.

4) Here the first bit of tiling outdoors. This will go all the way round the house, in the rec room, and on the patio out back.

5) Part of the market at Kutchap. This is where we do our grocery shopping, live fish, frogs, selection of insects, etc.

6) Somebody fishing in the rice fields. There's a net on the end of the poles, don't know where the fish come from, these fields were as dry as the Sahara in April...
