Simon sent these a few days ago ... a selection of snaps of the new house. Here they are, along wlth his captions.
1) An end view, showing the rain pipes...
2) Here's the view from the back, landscaping is going to take a while...
3) The front 'yard', with tamarind tree.
4) A small kitchen...
5) This one speaks for itself, I think
6) This is Songkran's Buddha corner, the ell of an ell-shaped bedroom.
7) Part of the living room, with Pam's room at the back. No furniture yet...
8) Well, almost no furniture. This is the patio stuff while we wait for the
rest
9) Only bit of bedroom stuff, brought up from Lamai.
10) The front door. excuse the junk, the curtains were just delivered...
11) And here the family. (all spellings made up) Back row is Lao and Sing, middle row Sister number one, Songkran, and Sak, number one's eldest. Pak, #1's daughter is in yellow, and Pam is, as usual, the one pulling a face. Lefty is the black cat, Mama Miow is in black and white, Farsie is the small brown dog, Ko the white one.
