Other Sections of the Woodblock.com Website
Some parts of the website don't fit well into this 'timeline' structure, and stand alone as separate sections:
- Encyclopedia of Japanese Woodblock Printmaking - my ongoing attempt to collect information and resources useful to those making woodblock prints with the traditional Japanese methods. (Includes a comprehensive Library of books on woodblock printmaking.)
- The Giant Stride - woodblock prints of John Edgar Platt - a 'tribute' website, introducing the life and work of a very interesting British printmaker.
- The Woodblock Prints of Yoshijiro Urushibara - another 'tribute', this one covering the work of the Japanese craftsman who lived as an expatriate in England in the early 20th century.
- Mokuhankan - the print publishing company that I founded in 2005 of course has its own web presence.
