Although we can't see the eaves at the very top, they still cast a shadow ...

Doing these gradations is leaving me a bit cross-eyed here, so for a break, let's add in the sky. Now that a good amount of the building is done, it's possible to get the depth of tone worked out.

This is actually a totally different pigment (Prussian Blue), but at these very light levels of saturation, there's almost no difference in appearance.
