Continued from [Arts of Japan #7 - 5] : printing steps 5 ~ 6 | Starting point of the thread was [Arts of Japan #7 - 1] : carving begins

The next group of impressions is going to go a long way to making this thing come alive. It's going to be quite a lot of work, putting these on one-by-one (most of them actually taking a 'double impression' - a gentle base gradation followed by a more intense thin one along the top edge. Here's the first one:

With 120 sheets of paper in the stack, going through twice, with each one a 'double', that's one very very long day's work. No way will I be able to keep doing 2 a day for the next little while ...
