[River in Autumn - 8] Colour blocks finished

Continued from [River in Autumn - 7] Colour block progress ... | Starting point of the thread was [River in Autumn - 1] Design considerations

Two weeks ... start to finish ... and the colour block set is now done. (That's actually nothing to brag about, but - as usual - there was a lot of other work getting done at the same time ...)

These are clickable for enlargements ...

Couple of notes:

  • I haven't washed them off yet, as it might be easier for you to see the patterns if I leave the black tracing paper in place. I will scrub them under the tap before the first test printing.
  • As mentioned in a previous post, one of them has a 'heads and tails' arrangement, and thus two sets of registration marks
  • If you look closely, you will see that one place isn't finished yet. I'm still a bit hesitant about how to do the shading around the campfire. I'll have to finally make my mind up on this before I wash these off ...

Ignoring the key block for the moment, look at the next five faces (they are in sequence). Follow the 'light'. Imagine the campfire being an 'explosion' ... the lighted area expands outward from block to block ...
