This one was fun. My two daughters were still in elementary school, and when I learned about this one - that I would be 'interviewed' by a reporter/photographer team from a kids' magazine - I didn't talk to the girls about it. The interview session happened one day while they were out at school, and when my copy of the magazine arrived some weeks later, I casually left it on our table at home, without comment.

They came home from school that day, and one of them picked it up and flipped through. When she got to the Doraemon story (he was one of her heroes), she went ballistic: "Daaaaad! What's this!?! Was Doraemon here? What happened? Why didn't you tell us!"

It was great fun, and you can only imagine what it must have been like when they took the magazine to school the next day, to show all their friends! :-)
