This is a rare view for me ... in the first few years of the Poets' series, before I headed downtown to central Tokyo to hold my annual exhibitions, I used a very small local gallery in Ome. Those exhibitions never attracted much attention, but (in retrospect) I understood that they had been very good training for me in how to arrange such a show. By the time I did head for 'the big time', in a major gallery in Shinjuku, I knew what to expect, and was ready to organize things properly.
