Webcam Sample Images

If the Woodblock Webcam is turned off at the moment, please try again a bit later ...

What can you expect to see when it is on? I have two 'hats' as a woodblock printmaker - carver and printer. These jobs use different tools and different workbenches. So the camera is switched back and forth depending on just what job I'm doing at the moment.

I also move the camera around from time to time, as I have learned from viewer feedback that there is interest in both types of view - 'close up' and 'long distance'.

Here are a few samples clipped from recent webcam shots ...

Here is my carving bench. At the moment I'm working on something a bit detailed, so am looking through a lens to help see the fine lines ...

From a bit closer ...

I sometimes pull the camera right up to the bench, to give a good view of the actual cutting process ...

When it's time for printing, a whole different set of tools is used.

A closer view ...

More samples to come later ...
