Dear Gilbert,

Many thanks for your writing of 15th Nov 1948, and the greeting from all old friends in B.M.  Please give my best wishes/regards to all. I ought to have written to you long ago but I couldn't I mean I didn't and am so sorry. I was trying to find out where Mr. Murakami is and found his address which is:

	Asano-cho, Kanazawa-shi, Japan

I was told that even without House No., letters will reach him through the mail at the above address.

I am becoming an old man but am still making the prints. It seems I have to lose everything left in London.
