Now that I have completed my key block, what is the best way to remove the hanshita paper, without getting gunk into the fine cuts?

I'm not sure what kind of adhesive you used, but in my case, the glue dissolves easily in water, so I just use a small spray bottle to moisten the block, and a toothbrush to scrub it clean. I sometimes do the entire batch of colour blocks at once, taking them to the sink and lightly scrubbing with the toothbrush under the running tap.

thanks for getting back to me...
I used Yasutomo Nori that I purchased here in the U.S.
It does dissolve, but it seems to be clogging the file cuts in the "hair" areas...
I'll have at it with a soft toothbrush and see what happens

thanks again
