The third print in the My Solitudes series - The Seacoast in Autumn - is now online for viewing, along with a slideshow illustrating the stages of printing!

The third eBook in the 'Classics of Woodblock Printmaking' series has now been published, and is ready for download.

Because Woodblock.com is such a 'low budget' operation, I can't afford to advertise my Annual Gift Print out on the web. So to help drive traffic to the site during the end-of-year gift season, I am running an affiliate system, to encourage other people to advertise this print on my behalf, by paying royalties on any sales coming from affiliate links.

The 2007 version of the Annual Gift Print is now ready ...

The process starts with the bare wood of course, and the plank I've selected for this print is a bit special ... it's a piece I've had for nearly 30 years!

In a new addition to the website, every print in the Hanga Treasure Chest can now be used as an E-Card with which you can send a message, greetings, etc., to your friends. Look for the 'Send this print as an E-Card' link on each print page in this section of the website.

For years now, there has been a scattering of press clippings on the website, but finally I have got them organized into a readable form!

'Shimbun' is the Japanese word for 'newspaper', and the Woodblock Shimbun is just that - a collection of newspaper and magazine articles (in English) spanning the years since I started exhibiting my prints here in Japan.

The Woodblock Shimbun is now also the 'entry' point for the TV programs available in QuickTime format ...

A whole batch of QuickTime format video files are now up on the site, covering a random selection of TV appearances over the past few years. Most of them are in Japanese, but a couple might be of special interest to overseas viewers - having soundtracks (at least partly) in English:
