Pieter Irwin Brown


Born in Holland in 1903, Brown trained at the Royal Academy in Amsterdam, and worked as an illustrator, operating a company to produce posters. He settled in Japan when he was 31 years old, and sold a number of designs to the Watanabe Print Shop, and the Adachi Institute of Prints. He left Japan when he was 37.
